For the first time in history, Monaco is hosting three Grand Prix races in the span of just 28 days with Grand Prix Historique, the E-Prix, and the Formula One Grand Prix taking place between April 23 to May 23, 2021. All precautionary measures have been set in place to ensure better safety for all those in attendance.

Due to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and a sudden surge in cases, the Grand Prix was cancelled last year, but after much deliberation one of the world’s most iconic motor sports circuits is back on track this spring.

The city of Monaco, an international cultural centre for ballet, exhibitions, theatre, music and sports where tourists can relax in luxurious spas and stay at world class hotels is also home to the heart-stopping motor sports action, Grand Prix. The streets of Principality have transformed into challenging tracks for world class champions to compete. While two out of the three motor races, 12th Grand Prix Historique and the 4th Monaco E-Prix have already been held from April 23 to 25 and on May 8, 2021 while the main event, the F1 Grand Prix will be taking place from May 20 to 23.

Thanks to monumental efforts and vigilant planning by Automobile Club de Monaco and over 3,000 volunteers involved in organising these major events, ensuring that motor sports fans everywhere get the chance to see a century of automobile history in full flight, from classic pre-war models to the latest generation electric cars, and Formula 1 cars, the event took off to a great start last month.

This year’s trophy will be presented in a bespoke Louis Vuitton case, underlining the opulence and grandeur of the sport’s most glamourous race.

Monaco Grand Prix offers a guaranteed thrill with the shortest track of all the F1 world championship circuits that winds through the heart of the city itself, covering just 3.34 km where overtaking is not for the faint hearted. This year the events laid out during the unprecedented month of racing offers fans from all over the world the pleasure of enjoying the past, present and future of Grand Prix with Grand Prix Historique, F1 Grand Prix and the E-Prix.

Organised since 1929, the event is one of the most prestigious races in Formula 1 both because of its unique circuit through the city streets, which is renowned for its difficulty, and the champions who have made history there.
